Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The newest issue of Venus Magazine has a photo I shot in it. Venus is a music magazine based out of Chicago that features mostly indier than thou bands (the new issue has Sleater-Kinney on the cover) and lots of DIY projects as well. But they used one of my photos so I guess my "craft project" made it in.

This photo:

A photo of my fiance in the spoke. So I guess technically two photos of mine made it in. Even better.

Nice - I know the Venus folks - this is their last issue or the following one I think. Amy's moving on.

Well that is terrible news. I really do like this magazine a lot. Hopefully they are moving on to better magazines then.
