Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Aventon Mataro vs State Black Label

Hello, I'm in the process of purchasing my first fixed gear to commute to work a few days a week and I have narrowed it down to a Aventon Mataro with upgraded carbon lite fork and a bone stock State Black Label. They both look very similar on paper, both double butted 6061 and look similiar in appearance, so I'm torn on which one to buy... The Aventon I found for $300 and the Black Label for $275 any input would be helpful.
