That reminds me totally of one of the shots in Hackers. They wear pretty much the same looking clothes too (look who's posing now).

I have the 1m fahgettaboudit, and it weighs about 8 pounds. Not a big deal, I was just wondering.

Hopefully not. These guys are racing and getting paid to do it. Nothing wrong with that. If they're being used as pawns in a marketing campaign, so what, all athletes get used that way. I was picking a nit with the 20lb lock comment the one guy made. Perhaps he's sporting two NY chains and a U-lock.

I am 100% behind Team Puma, and that comes from a TU guy. Kevin and all are slick, decent people and deserve the recognition.

I really dont enjoy reading articles that make people who ride track bikes seem insane or superhuman, it just ticks me off. Whats the big deal? 'They zig and zag BARELY missing cars and pedestrians, and when deliveries really come down to the wire, they pedal so fast they actually fly, FLY I TELL YOU!' ...get over it.

Hah, thats a great shot. Props to them, it'd be nice if it could happen without the 'PUMA' though. Squid is great.

Nice! Yeah, it's a little fluffy, about the same way most messenger articles tend to be, but that's okay.

And yeah msngr, I think Todd should be known as the "happy puma" from now on...

But where's Felipe?

Is Puma putting out cycling specific clothing? Or is the stuff they're wearing just part of their retro-styles lifestyle collections?

They're making a cycling jacket in their "Urban and Mobile" line... it's transparent.

"We want people to think more of us than just that guy who ran over their foot," he said. "We also want to improve work conditions, since most messengers are underpaid and get no medical insurance."

I think that's pretty cool.

I wonder if Puma will market their track line along w/ their $300 yoga gear.

One of my co-workers printed out the article and handed it to me since he knows I'm all about the bikes.

I'm trying to locate the photos from a few weeks back. Think it was Team Puma, know the folks in the pic were drinking and smoking pipes. Anyone know the title or the link for me? Thanks. Merry Friday?
