Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I are commuter.

On the Eisentraut with 48x17.
It's fun. I saw Urban dear.

It's fun when the guys at work talk to me about the bike and they lift it up and gush about how light it is.

Again, I say whee.

PS I'm commuting to UPS so I load their precious boxes into trucks. 12 miles in, 3-5 hours of loading trucks and 12 miles back if I go straight home, which i've done once.

I give thanks to myself for getting sa DUI in August and then going to treatment (court ordered) not drinking and quitting the cigarettes may 1st.

I'm now powered by whatever food I graze from my sandwich shop job (chili dogs anyone?) self satisfaction and a general disgust for manifold destiny.

F*ck making sense. Riding bikes rules.
