SF/Bay Area - Hellyer June 11

Anyone want to hit the track on June 11th with me? I have space for three other people in my car, but no bikes. The track cost is $5 for usage and $5 for bike rental. They have some pretty nice rental bikes too. It's a lot of fun and you do get rest time between races. A good way to learn pacing, drafting, and general track skills.

The catch: Leave the city at 7:30am. Training session is 8:30 to 11:30am.

Lets just do a nice cruise then. Maybe hit a hill or two.
Maybe we can convince Jordan to ride with his cape. He loves that cape...

Nice, lets do some riding this saturday then.

Cory and I are going to meet up around 10am or so and ride over to the diner by the Cliff House for some breakfast. After that we'll ride for a while, then go get beers.

Karmical, you gonna be at the Blue Cube tonight?

I like the view from Louis' diner better though, and it's cheaper at Louis'. I used to live on 43rd and Geary and we'd walk down to Louis' on Saturday mornings for breakfast. The hawks are always flying around right outside the windows there. Great place to start a ride...

Im interested in hitching a ride to Hellyer with both/either of you. Just let me know when you're going. It takes 3 beginner sessions before you can do the saturday afternoon practices so I want to get them out of the way. I'll be renting a bike for atleast the first one, my track frame is en route and needs building.

June 11th, it's on for Hellyer.
Make sure you bring shoes, pedals, and a helmet. It's a lot of fun.

As for this weekend, the 4th, I'm going to try to get a group together to ride around. Looks like Ostro will be joining up after breakfast, and Karmical will be joining up after he gets off work. Anyone else got saturday free?

Cool man, I'll definitely give you guys a call when we're heading out. If she doesn't have her bike by then she can borrow Sonia's SS.
