Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

well, nothing is ridable, yet, but i have a feeling i am going to get some flak for what i will ride. so tell me how much of a poser i am and give it to me now. the frame is titanium, the fork and bars are all carbon, the pedal are clipless, and i carry an old messenger bag to work.

And just to warn you, you know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at school. this one gang kept wanting me to join because i'm pretty good with a bo staff.

You sure you want all carbon bars? I have seen them shattering to pieces. bar and stem - I would never go carbon. Besides, you describe something which could be quite a nice bike - any pics? My road bike is titanium as well, what's worse frame was pained by the previous owner as Pinerello Opera. I had a dillema what's worse, posing with Pinarello or stripping the paint and posing with titanium bike

Are you sure you want to go with "You can do it ON my face" Maybe you'd be better off with "You can do it TO my face" cause it reads a little....weird..as is. Not that there's anything wrong with that, no.

i dont have the frame in my hands yet, so no pixs for a month or so.

Being more specific... keep in mind that almost everything is used, or from a guy that was liquidating his inventory, so i got it at wholesale.

the frame is a Dean El Diente Track, custom screw-up but it fits me for the price
the fork is an Easton SLX
Kestrel EMS/SL bars
eggbeater stainless
CKing headset in red, white and blue
Thomson x2 stem and masterpiece post
phil wood BB and SLR hubs
sugino 75
um, there are a few other things but not real important

Not into Ti myself, but if someone like Matt Chester is that committed to it, it can't really be bad, can it?
