Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Prospect Park Races on Thursday nights

Just a reminder to ya'll about Thursday nights races at prospect. Possible team races this week. Spread the word. The more the awesomer. We might even get some extras with all the people in town for CMWC. Could be a nice turnout.

I'll see you there.

We were thinking teams of 2 (Madison or just normal relay). We could also run multiple races tonight pending the turnout (2 lap, team, and maybe even a 4 lap) and everyone can throw in a dollar for the race(s) they want to participate in. How does that sound to everyone?

And once again Iíll be lacking a bike unless anyone wants to pay my Trackstar tab (it really isnít that much).

Best
Tyler

And donít worry if you donít have a teammate- weíll pair up when everyone arrives.

madison in the pitch dark would be interesting. I'll be there to give my money to lightgraphs. It'll be my wedding present to him. We should get some out of town people on the forums to go, those that are here for worlds anyways.

Hey Msngr- I think Tad is going to try and drop some off tonight.

And yes- 10pm rain or shine at the grand army entrance.

Also, the bill has gone up to $220.00 at trackstar- any one want to give me a 24 hour loan so i can race tonight?

That was hella hella hella fun. We did a relay race... two person teams four laps total.

all the people that were talking early morning prospect park training, let's get organized. I'm back in town tuesday and would be up for any day after that.

the sun comes up crazy early right now. I used to ride 5am-7am, but I'm open to anything... I think being done by 7:30 or so is a good idea. We could do 6:15-7:45 or something like that... it depends on what you guys are up for.

the thing for me is that I can't do it more than 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day a week cuz I take turns getting up with my daughter.

I am so there. this is like my fight club right now: it is the thing that I think about at the office while I am silently judging all the other drones...

Can I get the icon in cornflower blue?

I second the fight club feeling. This is getting to be the highlight of my week.

Enjoy the next two weeks without me. When I come back I'll be sportin' a new ride gifted by my wonderful TRACKSTAR teammates. Lighter and tighter.

Feel free to talk all sh*t about me for the next two weeks while I'm out and away from computers.

later...
