Sounds like it might be to mature a gathering.

I have to say, that was the MOST INSANE RACE EVER.
At several points over the course of the day, I looked around, thinking to myself, "gosh, we have to be at the highest point in the city." And then we'd go down. And then higher again.
Highlights included a checkpoint at the bottom of a gorge that involved about 1/2 mi of singletrack (with many large logs blocking the trail) and a steep steep walked-climb to get out of it.
Also, gotta hand it to the checkpoint where you had the choice of doing 20 pushups or getting head-butted...
Thanks to Isaac and all the sponsors for a great time. Rumor has it the gold sprints were up and running after we left-- I'm sorry to have missed that.

Yeah that allycat was the most grueling and creative ones that I've done. I never done so much running with my bike before, I felt like I was a cyclocross racer during part of the allycat.
I've never been to Baltimore before this race, but now I feel like I've been through a complete tour of the neighborhoods. It was crazy, but defiantly worth the trip down, and the after party with live hip hop acts, free beer & food was great; too bad the goldsprint machine wasn't working while I was there, but by the time I left I wasn’t in the condition to do much sprinting anyways.

Thanks for the compliment on the pics. More to come when I get my small camera back. I left it with a friend to take more pics of the awards and stuff after I bailed.

I talked to a reporter at the Baltimore City Paper after the race... I think we can expect some photos and a story in this Wednesday's edition.
I was quite inebriated when I talked to him. I hope I didn't say anything too incriminating.

Got a name/number for that reporter? If you do, will you email it to me?

Hey! I think I met you, I was on team Kick Ass! which became team Ass Kicked, after all three members got severly lost (I almost wound up on interstate 95). I was the fat guy with a beard and a metallica shirt, that should be more than enough to remember me... I'm pretty sure I remember you (chimblysweep).
