Frame size?

i'm looking at a 57cm road frame to build my first fixie from and i was wondering if it would be too small for me. i'm 5'11'' with a 34'' inseam. anyone else ride a 57 who's about my size?

In theory your optimal fit should be right about 58cm (34 * 2.54 to get cm, then *0.67 to get your framesize) so it should be close -- since you seem fairly 'leggy' it might work better for you to have the smaller seat tube as you'll also get a correspondingly shorter top tube, which (imho) is more important for fit.

I am roughly the same size as you, if not a little bigger and i run a 56. I prefer it a little small, i guess because the top tube runs more compact, and just jack the seat up a little extra.
