So while in nyc for the worlds, I ran into world famous cycle graph artist. I asked him to put my contact info on my rims as my anti-theft. One side only, so you can have a clean side and a tagged side. I know this is not for everyone, but works on this bike. also helps to take your disco stickers off so people think you have jr's!

Or you could lock 'em up...
No, they look cool. Very personalized.

Stupid. If you are worried about it you should instead get a locking skewer. I could never imagine rolling around the city on something with my info on it. Also it just looks stupid. you could also lock them?

Is that a paint marker? You have to clear coat that, or it's gunna come off. Rain and wear takes that crap off quick, or should i say, just smudges and wears it down to crap. Furthermore, my opinion on this rolling business card is nuetral.

Locking skewers sound great but they dont work so good on solid axles. I like the idea of having your info on your wheels. What you think people are going to steal your identity? PRANK CALL YOU MAYBE?

And by reds do you mean Commies or those red stars?
PS - Why are you ragging on what Milkorp does to his bike. I think it's pretty cool and original. If I met Futura 2000 and either Cost or Revs I would want them to sign my bike (or ass for that matter). Besides, he has a better bike than you. So there.

Personalizing your stuff works.
My buddy has a picture of a friend's bleeding foot on his skateboard.
One day he left it on BART.
A month later I saw a guy with the board walking down the street. The only reason I recognized it was the bleeding foot.
Now he has his board again all thanks to silly pic.

sad...but true. It seems that the last two months forum terrorists have been planting thread traps and everyone has been walking in.

Forum terrorists?
I don't think we should use the word terrorists.
"Bombers" would be more apt.

You could always get one of these to display your contact info. Or if you were all technically skilled you could make an alarm out of it. Like if someone started riding your bike without hitting a hidden switch it would read "I am being stolen! Call the Police!!!". Not that anyone would in NY, but a funny idea. . .
