Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

3/32" cog with a 1/8" chain?

I've been told by people that I trust that this is fine, no big deal. Now I'm asking the world -- is this fine, no big deal? The reason I'm asking is that I need a 17t cog and fast (by Saturday.)

thanks!

The rule:

1/8 chain on 3/32 components = a go.
3/32 chain on 1/8 components = no go.
