Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

should I add a light bracket to the fork blade

I like the simpleness of the fixed gear bikes.Clean lines---no clutter. But should I add a braze on for a small light to the front fork blade? and a braze on to the rear to attach a small blinky?Would this kill the looks?

Yeah, i'm hoping that's what he meant. Braze ons seem like overkill.

Back to the point though, I'd say just put the lights on. But i'm more of a function guy than a fashion guy.

I've got a generator light on the fork of my ghetto-ass three-speed. I tend to use it more as a drag brake than an actual light, though.
