SATURDAY: Fast-paced fixed ride: Macarthur BART to Alameda

SATURDAY: Fast-paced fixed ride: Macarthur BART to Alameda

Saturday we're riding form the Macarthur BART station to Stone's Bike Shop in downtown Alameda. Its gonna be a faster ride than I normally hold for the mixed gear crowd.

If you wanna go, I'll have a couple of walkie-talkies just in case some of the faster riders seperate.

Ride starts at 11am-ish on Saturday.

Is there a goal other than riding fast and going to a bike shop?

Is there any ther goals in life? Maybe enjoying a ride with a bunch of other fixers? Not just commuting on your bike—actually riding? Listening to Justin's chain make crazy noises even after using his crazy, expensive lube?

If Judah comes on this ride then the goal will be to realize just how slow we all are compared to his leisurely pace (Hi Judah).

Ouch!

Can't go, gotta go to a wedding in San Diego

Dude, come-on though, it was fun right? Flying through the park with no one else around. I gotta say, that pace was a notch above leisurely. You guys missed the crash at the end of the ride. We were coming down Market and I went to turn right onto Valencia, Jordan was charging me on the right side and grabbed his brake *hard* and endo'd the bike. After that we went back to their studio and drank sake and Jordan proceeded to go all Animal (from the muppets, ya know?) on the drums.

Nah, just doing the big ride a lot, so I can maintain a good pace for a lot longer now. I had already ridden 50+ miles the day that they're giving me a hard time about, so I was probably all warmed-up and ready to go fast or something. I'm still slower than you, don't worry...

HAHA...well you missed me crashing on a curb outside the Cassanova. Real classy. And yes, making it from the Mission to the beach in 9 minutes was fun. That was a good ride.

Man, after got ahead of your guys Justin and I went for a speed run down panhandle-fell st-to Cassanova.

Yeah, I have to say that was one of the better rides I've had in a while. I think we shoould make it a weekly (Wednesdays?).

Yeah, tomorrow at 11AM. I may be hungover but I'm willing to ride.

Remember there's the Oakland ride tonight!!!

We stopped to get pizza. Your friend stopped too. We rode pretty fast down to the studio with Jordan's little crash thrown in there for fun.

Weeklies would be fun, but I have two morning weeklies already so it may be hard for me to make nightly weeklies unless they were on Friday...

i hate you judah.

people should get a handicap when riding with you.

from now on i will take one of your pedals.

that might bring it down a notch.

Got a b-day party to go to tonight, otherwise it'd be on. I only rode 10 miles this morning so my legs are feeling all fresh today, damn....
