Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

ya know what sucks? when you have two flat tires on your bike and need to go to the post office. so you barrow your brothers mountain bike. as your checking to see if you brought some cash you see a red light and hit the brake.brakes? it turns out to be the front brake, i stoped dead and was clipped in. i fell over right in traffic!!! i felt so dumb, f brakes. on the other hand im hoping some girl saw and i get a date , nothing yet though.

So afterwards, did you sit on the sidewalk and look at the bike as if there was a mechanical failure? hehe. At least you now you have a conversation starter.

Asuming that you did not want a date with a 'dude in a big truck' you did something wrong.
Not that there is anything wrong if you did want a date with a 'dude in a big truck'.

HAHA I did that this morning. I was waiting for a car to leave the stop sign so I could cross the street and I think they were waiting for me but inching forward. So I ride like Im going behind them so they get the picture and snagged my right clip on my front wheel REALLY hard and tipped over basically. ALL DEAD CENTER ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS. So of course I get on the sidewalk fakely looking puzzled and start testing my cranks and backwheel hahahaha.
