Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Couldn't decide whether to go to a warehouse party in Atlanta, a lakehouse party in Alabama, or just rock all these housepartys here in Nashville. My parents left for a church friend's New Year party, so I have the house to myself.

In end I've decided just to chill the fawk out and ring in 2006 all by myself. It's been a long...LOOOOOOONG time since I've had the leisure time just to do absolutely nothing, so I'm just gonna veg out, dick around on the inerweb, and watch the hell out of some cable TV-- all things I haven't been able to do in months.
I feel like I already totally partied myself out after Halloween weekend in NYC, so I'm gonna say bye to this crazy *** year peacefully, and rock 2006 with a well rested vengance.

I hope everyone else has a super satisfying night!

Just got in from a quiet house party down the road. Hope everyone makes it home safely and without too many bruises tonight! Slippery roads + New Years Drinks = many visits to the pavement on the way home!

oh crap.
I just came home and barfed suicide wings out of my nose. (it BURNS like mad)
man... this was the craziest new years ever.
I took the subway home with my friends and we saw this big guy and he was totally wasted. Hhe barfed about 6 times into his buddy's hat.
It was so dirt, before he got to his stop, the dude dropped the hat and I got his puke all over my shoes. whoo hoo.
I love public transit.
and happy new years. I'm going to sleep.

meh, my lady friend and her roommates decided to have a hugeass party and one of them decided to leave and stop paying rent, so between that and and trying to patch up an 14 year old on E who nearly broke her nose, drama is abounding.

if it's one thing i hate, it's drama.

It is 1:22 here and I just logged on. Your ladyfriend is 14 years old with a broken nose and is on E? That is drama.

nope. but a 14 year old was at her roommates' party, who was on e and broke her nose and got a lip ring ripped out. the lady friend is 21, doesn't do drugs much, and is in pretty good physical condition. surely no broken nose.
