Shimano Freehub cogs
Alright, so I have a conversion kit on my urban bike. However, I got the cog with the kit and now I want a different size. Any idea where I can get one?
I don't want a dismantled cassette, I want a thick rear cog with no ramps. a 17 preferably. I can find them for shimano bmx hubs, and chris king hubs and track cogs but nothing for just a plain old shimano freehub. Any ideas?
I was under the impression that shimano bmx hubs and chris king hubs have a different splining or are even a different size than a regular old freehub.

They're the same splining, but they don't have the key skinny spline that a cassette has.
King, Surly, Shimano BMX, or the cheap DX cogs will all work. You can get an assortment of spacers from Bike Tools Etc..

For some reason Shimano doesn't make the DX in 17 tooth. Kings are hard to get most times and a bit pricey. Other options are Surly and Endless bikes.

those endless look pretty badass, but I think I want to stick with something a bit cheaper until I'm sure that's the gearing I want.
