friday game time! Identify this bicycle.

Hello contestants,

I'm wondering if someone can help me figure out the true identity of this bicycle...

https://www.awcycles.co.uk/products.p...=m3b0s198p6840

What year is the frame? What is it? A built up Concept frame of some sort? I would appreciate it if those out there with the proper knowledge enlighten me.

thanks.

Okay, yes, a 2005 D2. But...what is that? I have never seen nor heard of one. Now while I am certain I'm not aware of every bicycle ever made, I thought I was rather aware of the Bianchis put out in the past year.

Also, I've never seen one in a bicycle shop, though venturing into many selling Bianchis and track frames.

D2 Pista Carbon/D2 Crono Carbon

This all new Monocoque UHM Carbon frameset, developed in conjunction with team sprint and track ace Magnus Backstedt, is available in two guises: one the Pista for the track or fixed TT’er and the Crono (pic 6), a geared version for TT specialists. The frames' organic lines have been developed to give maximum stiffness and has been wind tunnel developed for the best in aerodynamics. Both versions come at a £1750 price tag which includes the Oval Concepts A900 jetstream fork (with its unique blade shape) and an FSA Orbit headset. It's available in three sizes S(49-53) M(54-58) L(59-63).

It's probably only offered in Europe/
