Anyone going to the Santa Monica Critical Mass tonight?

If I can get the last touches on my fixie done this afternoon, I think I may have to show up. Anyone else?

why is the cm tonight, I thought cm is on the last friday of each month? Is the SM one different?

There are a handful of places that do it at different times of the month. I don't think should call it Critical Mass, really.

DC CM is first friday of the month too...i kind of thought the idea was that if one were so inclined, he or she could travel to another nearby city and participate in their CM too.

I think it's mostly for smaller cities that have a big enough bike community for a CM but they're too close to larger cities.

Either way, CM is traditionally on the last Friday, and although I support mass rides, I don't think the rides at other times of the month should be called Critical Mass.
