Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Anyone know a fixie friendly bike shop in the Sacramento area?

I'm gonna be up there this weekend, and I have yet to find a shop that caters to the fixies. Anyone in the area know of one? Thanks.

I hear that the best one around is Business Cycles at 3077 Freeport. I went there on monday, but they were closed. From the window I saw track cogs hanging in baggies on the wall and 4 pistas on the floor. Let me know how it is if you make it in.

I was there last weekend and saw that bike. I kinda wanted to buy it. He doesn't seem to stock any track/fixed stuff except for the used bikes that he gets in. It has Sugino 75's on it right?

I flew up, so I couldn't bring my bike, but yeah, I am proud to say that Sacto is my hometown. It seems like a pretty bike friendly downtown too. Where do you do your riding?
