The hubs are all mine, baby. Apparently Jame Carney rode them, too. Hope he wasn't too hard on them.

for used hubs of dubious condition, lacking track nuts?

considering I can get a set at my LBS for $300 CAD, that's expensive.

if what the seller said was true and the hubs are ridden by a pro, then those hubs must've gone through quite a bit of abuse. I bid on those, but didn't want them that badly.

Shouldn't this be under the CL/Ebay thread?

I'm just wondering how "discolobster" in Hurst, Texas got a hold of Jame Carney's hubs? The same discolobster that is selling a broken ipod mini with no hardware.

edit: I changed my mind, that guy has some nice *****

Dsicolobster is Josh Kerkohf. It's no wonder he has nice stuff for sale. (If anybody thinks posting his name is not cool, tell me and I'll get rid of this post - I'm not sure if his real name is in his ebay account somewhere, but it doesnt seem like a big secret. I hope I'm not being insensitive to his privacy.)

Yeah, getting the dura ace front nuts will be easy thanks to friends in nice bike shops. I'm certainly happy with the purchase. I didn't intend to top 170 or so but I got the itchy ebay finger. No regrets.
