frame pad for iro mark v?

look, it's not about hipster cred (for instance, i like air supply and the show "everybody loves raymond"), but my top tube is getting all kinds of scratched up and RELOAD's website suggests that their frame pad won't fit on my bike.

cursed ovular tubing.

any other ideas for frame pad merchants?

just use an old tube. wrap that sucker on there, tape up the ends with your choice of gaffer/electric tape. cheap and easy.

cheap and ugly? i might end up doing that, but you know, if i can justify spending money on a nice looking frame pad, you know...my hipster cred's been sorely lacking lately.

Local company (for me, at least). They make some really nice (and custom if you want) frame pads among other things. I've got one on one of my bikes it's great.

okay, yeah. Roach is the company, but a google search only revealed chainstay pads and arm guards. Do they have a website that you know of?

just call the reload kids and explain that you need it to fit on a frame that has slightly larger tubing.. measure the circumference and i'm sure they'll make you one for little or no extra charge. i have them make me longer ones all of the time, so i don't see why they wouldn't make one larger in the other direction.
