Need Keirin info for Tama area (Ping Ceya or Tommity)

Hey,

I’m looking for information on a Keirin shop in Tama area, something not to far from the Keo station if possible, or not. If you’ve got a shop address, phone number and business hours, it’d kick the collective @$$ for me.

PM me, or send me an email if you can. I’ll pay you back for the info..

don't know if it's too late to hop on this ship as well, but i'm currently living in kyoto and have been wondering if there is anywhere around where i could pick up cheap, used frames.. i know the gan well factory is in town, and the nagasawa is closeby too, but does anyone have any experience with either of them? do they tend to have many extra and/or used frames for sale?

Ceya 10-18-05 11:06 AM

yes they do but with Kyoto loco 2005 just there alot was bought up. go by ganwell first.

S/F,
CEYA!

Hi!! Mr.William Karsten
This is Tomity from Tokyo Japan
Why are you looking for Keirin shop of Tama area?
Parts of Keirin are hardly sold in cycle shop of Japan.
Because a lot of professional Keirin rider buys parts with Keirin velodrome shop.
Prices of NJS parts are almost expensive as the same even if it buys it where.

I searched for the shop by which you seemed may sell some NJS parts.

SHIMAZAKI Cycle shop (Tokyo Hachioji-shi)
There is a shop in the place gotten off in the Minase-bashi getting on from the
second at Keio-Hachioji Station(KEIO LINE) the bus platform.

There is a shop in the place of about seven minutes from the north exit at
Nishi-Hachioji Station(Japan Railroad CHUO LINE) on foot.

This shop made Keirin frame(SHIMAZAKI)brand.
You can buy NJS Keirin parts in this shop.
address:13-23,Hiyoshi-machi,Hachioji-shi,Tokyo,Zip.193-0836
phone number:0426-22-7961

AM10:00-PM6:00(sunday,National holiday)

Keirin shop of Tama area was only SHIMAZAKI.

Tomity: thank you ever so much.

I have family who lives in Tama who wish to buy me a gift. I'm very pratical, and would want something for my bike, or me, that is unique as well.

They are old, and traveling can be hard on them. But true to thier nature, they would do something and not say if it were a hardship or not. So, before I asked them to get something, I thought I'd find out how difficult it would be for them.

If you and Ceya could PM me your address (or email) I'll send something your way to say thanks!

Ceya 10-18-05 11:54 PM

Hi,
I know you're after second hand parts so I'll ask my fixie mates for you. You could ask Kaze Messenger Service if they have any ideas. If you are after new bits / parts, you might want to have a look at "Koseki" bike shop. Head up Imadegawa-Dori approx 4km's west of Horikawa-Dori. When you see "Cons" cycles turn right and head up the street about 50 metres and it is on the left. Even if they don't have what you are after, there is pleanty of bike porn there. A couple of months ago I was in there having a sticky and a customer came and picked this one up. Oh Yeh.

thanks a lot giant cfr. i'll be sure to check out that shop as well as ganwell. if not friday, then definitely monday. and yeah, if you happen to have any pals who are looking to get rid of bikes, i'd be very interested to know. 580mm-600mm would be ideal, but i know those are few and far between, so i'd gladly purchase a smaller bike then just swap the frame out later.
thanks for looking out ceya, tomity, giant!

It was just protection you know? I mean how else can you mail bottles with out them being broken in transit.

My only regret was that I wasn't there to see him open it.. and then try to get them out.

To bad he didn't take pictures, eh?

yeah, i pretty much try to keep an eye on all the fixed gear yahoo auctions at any given time and try to check out framebank too, though they haven't updated their selection very much recently and it's a bit tough to find a frame my size there..
