Soma Rush w/ Van Dessel Wheels?

Finally got up the balls to post here after a long while of just lurking about. I've got a mid 80's Miyata conversion and was looking at getting a new wheelset to repalce my janky 27in ones im running now. I've had my eye on a few wheelsets ie: van Dessel flip/flops and the basic iro set up.
In a couple months i was planning on picking up a Soma Rush Frame and my question is would the van dessels fit the rush frame? I think the Van dessel hub is 130mm. Any input would be of great help. Also any input on the van dessel wheels and hubs themselves would be great.
Thanks for helping out yet another hipster newb
Cheers.

your miyata and the rush probably are both spaced at 120... the van dessel wheelset is more of a cyclocross wheel anyhow... I would stick with the IRO

if the miyata is a conversion, it's more than likely 126 spacing, which would easily fit the van vessel wheelset. something you may or may not have though of: both wheelsets are 700c and you'll be installing them on a frame designed for 27 inch wheels. if you're running brakes, you very well might need long reach calipers. you'll also have tons of tire clearance... so you could run huge tires if you wanted.

xcutterx has van dessel hubs on his country road bob. they're really nice. they're sealed and have allen key fixing bolts. however, i'm not sure you can re-space them down to 120. thus, if you're going to get a new frame the van dessel hub spacing could be a problem.

food for thought:

thanks for the input. guess the van dessels are out of the picture now and I'm onto either the iro's or a the set off chucks. I've seen quite a bit o talk about the velocity deep v's but not much on the velocity razors that the chucks are. Any input on these? I went on Velocity's site and checked the info they had, but it honestly didn't mean much to me. Thanks for the help... and tolerance

i don't know anyone who has used the razor's, but i'm sure they're nice. velocity makes some great rims. they're way lighter than the deep v's and eyeleted, which is nice. i think everyone likes the deep v's because they're good quality, inexpensive, and sharp looking.
