Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Go to www.fixedgeargallery.com and check out the nice promotion dennis and jon have graciously offered for the Big Fix--the fixed-gear ride across the U.S. next summer to benefit histiocytosis (my daughter's illness)
It is on top left of the page--"tickets" are $20 and give you a 1/150 chance of owning one of these luscious frames www.jonnycycles.com
More tickets give you more chances, and all tax deductible.
Good luck, thanks for letting me continue to pitch this crazy ride.

Already donated, regardless of a Jonny frame or not. But it sure helps.

Either way, I'm going to be checking out Jonny's digs in two weeks or so - it'll be exciting to see a frame builder set-up.

AND, if you're coming to the BFFG, Jonny will be there in person - he's offering a prize as well (as sponsorship).

And so is Don (offering prizes that is)!

Hey folks--

FYI, raffles are not usually tax-deductible. I don't want the taxman to get anyone down.

It's still a good cause, and I'm contributing.

Worth the donation alone for the fact that you are riding straight through the US, with one day off in Cleveland, to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Money sent.

I've already got a Jonny frame, but I'd totally be in it for a Walker.

I donated, and I'm serious about the above.

I donated! Who ever wins that frame is going to be pretty happy. Can't wait till I can donate more money to perhaps win a Don Walker frame
