I haven't either, actually, but the pictures and specs sound pretty rad. Jamis did their homework on their upcoming track/fg offering, for the most part. It's a Reynolds 631 frame with an Easton 70 carbon fork, Formula hubs, and mostly ok bits all around(Easton, Truvative, standard midrange fare). It only weighs 16.5 lbs, pretty light for a steel bike. I say "for the most part" because it is not as aggressive as a traditional track bike, although it looks like it would cook on the streets. The thing is $800, which puts it at an interesting price point, right between the entry-level pack and "real" competitive track bikes. I work at a shop that sells Jamis, and am wondering how these things will go over. Also, can anyone find a picture online? I've only seen them in the 06 catalog, Jamis doesn't even have it on their website.

They don’t come any simpler than this stripped-to-the-gills fixed gear unit.
The Sputnik hangs proper rear-facing track dropouts on a Reynolds 631 steel
frame, with a flip-flop rear hub that lets you mount an additional sprocket so you
can change gearing mid-ride. Use it as a track racer, or mount up a brake, quit your
day job and join the bike messenger ranks. This isn’t a bike for the faint of heart,
but for absolute purity of purpose there’s nothing more exquisitely beautiful,
or special-bred, than this elemental speedster.
Frame- Reynolds 631 air-hardened chromoly main tubes with heat treated-taper gauge cromo stays.
Fork- Easton EC70 carbon fork
Wheels- Alex DA22 rims, Formula 32H rear flip-flop hub, stainless steel spokes.
Tires- Hutchinson Quartz, folding, 23C.
Drivetrain- Fixed gear single speed, TruVativ Touro 48t crankset.
