Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The DIY local BFFG weekend bash

Ok so for all those who cannot make it to chicago this weekend, I've formulated a do-it-yourself simulation:

Step 1: get lots of sparks and put them in the fridge, 6pack minimum.
Step 2: find some other local bffg members and invite them to the festivities.
Step 3: invite some out of towners and (local/non-local) pirates.
Step 4: race in an alleycat saturday and get your ass kicked by the pirates.
Step 5: go to the local velodrome sunday (if one exists) and get your ass kicked by the pirates.
Step 6: drink all the booze you can find in between events.
Step 7: have funs.

So pie-rats are just dirty animals that live in sewers and eat pie? Are they fat and slow from all that pie? I bet they are...
