surly "new" track hub chainline fun

On Tuesday or Wednesday I'm getting all the parts to convert my singlespeed Miyata to fixed gear. I'm of course excited--I've been waiting for almost a year to be able to buy all the parts at once--and want to make sure I have everything to do the job so I can build the wheels, assemble the bike and ride it that day.
My biggest fear is that I'm not going to have the hub spacer(s) I need to get everything set up, I'll have to order the correct spacer(s) and wait, wait, wait for a few days while the bike sits idle for lack of a tiny, tiny part.
I'm using the Sugino RD cranks with a 103mm bottom bracket which good 'ol Sheldon says will give me a 42mm front chainline. In the back I'm using a Surly "New" Track hub and a 1/8" Surly cog. Sheldon's chainline chart says that these two will provide me with a 41.29 mm chainline in the rear which is workable, if not perfect.
Three questions
1) I'm guessing there is an older Surly Track Hub since the QBP catalog advertises the current track hub as the Surly "New" Track Hub. Can anyone confirm that the data on Sheldon's hub chainline chart (found here https://sheldonbrown.com/gloss_ch.html#chainline for those that don't know about this valuable resource) under "Surly Track" is the same as the "Surly New Track" hub. In fewer words, does the Surly New Track hub have 36.22mm chainline from center to shoulder?
2) Okay, lets say it does and the chainline is .71mm away from perfect. The angels are smilin' on me. Right? Or wrong? Is this close enough? Should I heed the perfectionist in me that says a 1mm spacer puts me within .29mm of perfect and futhermore wonders if there is a .75 mm spacer out there which would make my chainline perfect if we allow ourselves to round to the tenth of a mm?
3) How wide is the the threaded portion of the hub in question? Or is there a standard width for all track hubs? Because even if I don't need a spacer between the hub shoulder and cog, I'll still need one to take up the space bwteen the cog and the lockring, right? So I need to know how wide the cog threaded portion is.

I can't confirm the chainline, but I would presume that whatever is new about it is in the axle and bearings and not in the shell, but that's just me assuming and we know what that gets you.
being less than 1mm off shouldn't hurt, but if it was me, I would probably stick that spacer in there anyway, just so it wouldn't keep me up at night. I haven't heard of any .75 mm spacers, that's pretty thin.
I think the threaded portion is somwaht standardized because track cogs seem somewhat standardized and therefore if the hubs weren't that cog might thread too far down and the lockring would be useless. I don't see why you would need a spacer between the lockring and the cog.
