Turn this old TT bike into a fixie/ss?

So I will admit I am a roadie that likes to hang out in this forum and as a result don't really know too much about fixies/ss. I want to build up (long shot) or buy a single speed and have been looking around at old bikes. Ran across this one and thought it was pretty unique. It is a Viner Time Trial bike. I would say late 80's early 90's. Any chance something like this could be converted to a single speed?

Horizontal drops are the main consideration. If you've got those (which that bike clearly does) you're golden.

If you want to convert a bike with vertical drops, the best option is an Eno eccentric hub which is fairly expensive, but it makes a tricky conversion a snap.

i've got one like that [unfixed]

it's easy. just spend $50 on a hed track adapter thing and you can even keep the rear disc.

I have an old track viner. I have had it for about 5 years. i love it, though its a bit too stiff. I also have a 1892 Soma road bike in MINT condition. Any chance you would like to trade. It has horizonal dropous as well.

The bike is a bit out of the price range of what I am willing to spend. Found it on Craig's List (SF Bay). The guys is asking $800.00 for the complete bike. It have a 700c rear wheel and a 650c front.

<a href="https://www.craigslist.org/nby/bik/111848780.html">(Link to Craig's List Ad)</u></a>

Just thought it could be a fun bike to build up and even more fun to ride.

If anyone else is interested in one of these frames in about 52cm size I've got a Nishiki Linear frame fork and headset for sale. I'd love to use it myself but its too small. PM for more info. Would also consider trades for a track frame thats around 54-56cm.
