Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

he just had a hand drawn one.

i'd trace it, but don't have anything i can scan... my stem and bars get too much glare and i don't have any packaging to get it from.

for whoever was working the first checkpoint in chicago w/ the NJS stamp.. do you have it?

I knocked one out in Illustrator.

If you want it, tell me where and in what format.

i just whipped this guy up in illustrator.

could be a bit smoother on the bottom of the J (by actually drawing out a shape, instead of just using a line with a 12pt stroke), but it's not bad for 15 minutes of work.

lemme know if you want that .ai file.

if there isn't a vending machine somewhere with njs prophylactics replete with carbon fibre resevoir tips, there should be.

dave, let me know if you want the vector file I used to make the stamps for the MnG.

addendum—mike ley also used the same file to make these:
