Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A prologue frameset and a 24' M13II/specialized hub front wheel.

This is how it went:
"My girlfriend made some bread, I brought you some" says me.
"Awesome" says Niles (best bike shop owner I know).
"What are you doing with that funny bike?" says me.
"I dunno, you want it?" says Niles.

I already had a 700c M13II/promax waiting for a project.

My girlfriend is so pissed. Not only did I steal the rest of the bread she made, I came home with yet another bike.

You should put a big ol' riser stem and BMX bars on that.

I love pumpkin bread.

Might go down in history as the "best trade for a pumpkin bread!"

Almost as good as the "birthright for lentils deal" a couple of 1000 yeards ago.

he babbles alot, sometimes in a strange language. we generally ignore his minor digressions and attribute them to the fact he's 'tropical'. he gets all weird when the weather gets cold

leave me alone. you don't know how hard it is to be in a foreign land, to be treated differently than everyone else just because I rely on bablefish for basic communication. puhlease.

i say put the tallest ape-hanger bars you can on that boy, or maybe put a regular 700c fork on first to give it some height... that could be a cool lookin alt-bike

...unless of course you actually need a bike like that, i would just never have a reason to be bent over that far
