Anybody have any experience or exposure to a "retro-direct" drivetrain? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro-Direct
All the big hills in my new locale have me reconsidering fixedgear right now... well, not really.
One doesn't build a retrodirect bike for practical reasons. Only for fun, 'cos they'll never be be problem-free or effective. And I doubt you would go up those hills all that fast pedaling backwards. They sure look like fun, though.
