I phoned mine in and got it figured out right away. Turn around was about 3 hours because he was living in Staten Island still and I just went to pick it up and save the shipping cost.

i called in my order, but he's really good with email responses to questions, too. i got a custom wheelset in about a week, and the hubs had to go from NY to MI(to be built) to CA.

It is my understanding that Tony gets his wheels premade in batches. They are still handmade by velocity.
I would say call him to finalize everything. Aside from the NY accent he is easy to talk to, and over the phone is the only way you can be as certain as possible that you are getting what you want.

I ordered directly from Tony over the phone, since I wanted anodized wheels. I'd recommend it since he can let you know right off the bat that something is out of stock so you can decide whether you want to wait.
