Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I would estimate it at around -121F here, though the weather man said low teens.

Oh, just for the record a few days ago I was contemplating moving back east next fall. You guys have helped me make my decision.

If I had the cash I'd buy you all tickets to come join me herei n LA and put you guys up in my massive mansion and hold a great feast in your honor. But sadly, I'm broke.

Sunnier and warmer weather, yes!

Personally I like fog, I like sun, I like rain, etc. I guess appart from very extreme heat or cold I like almost every kind of weather. However, I do envy you L.A.ans for your warm nights!

I will visit LA again sometime next year. I'll bring my bicycle.
