Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'd like a brake, but it would **** up my unmachined black deep-v, and if I keep my fork I'd have to drill it...and I'm broke!

excuses, excuses. you threw rocks at the hornet nest (and it's not like we weren't all riled up already) and now you're gonna have to live with the consequences

the best part is you can't edit the thread title.

I think I get what he's saying. The average hipster is forced to work in retail, where conditions often don't allow him time to take a break.

Tragic, the plight of today's hipster.

you're not gonna get off that easy dude, you put your foot squarely in it
you may as well suck it up and take the beating you have coming. (at least you're already drunk, that'll make it easier to take).

Yeah like:

Si! Se rompe!

I think he should be their Chavez! A fine leader he would make! With bricks for houses, breaks for bicycles, and brakes also for bicycles. Those are some serious choices hipsters! Wake up and realize!

Si! Se rompe!

In fifty years, they'll rename Valencia Street to honor the noble soul that organizes the hipsters.

well, some of us *ehem, tink* can arrange a break.

bringing Chavez into a hipster thread, them's fighting words. what next, summoning Rosa Parks into a thread about getting hit by a bus?

and some of us are attacking a box of wine in hopes of catching up.
