Collary Axiom To Godwin's Law for Fixed Gear

Any time a conversation arises about Fixed Gear bicycles, if the thread goes further than five posts, someone will compare the OP, or one of the respondents to the post, as a Hipster.

Because of the derogatory neture of the term, due to it's association with a nation of individuals hell-bent on copying and destroying every cool or authentic thing that exist in the known Solar System, especially Uranus, and Earth, anyone called a Hipster is automatically removed from suspicion, with the onus being placed on the accuser, who seems to know way more about the whole Hipster situation than they are letting on. This discredits the person who used the Hipster reference as an attack, as they may themselves be one either trolling, or lurking as a newbie.

Once the accusation has been put forth, the thread usually unravels into either a flame war, or a barrage of non-sequiturs, hijacking the original question posted which are usually of the "What kind of bike do you think I should buy", or " What kind of bag do you wear."

I am riding my bike, in fact, as I'm typing this. You diidn't think that was a cadence counter on my bars, did you? It's nice alright. It's nice and cold!

Hold on, I gotta log off and descend this hill. Haven't mastered the whole 'no-hands downhill texting' thing yet. Plus pothole cause typos. *Ouch*

I guess this is what happens when I stop reading this forum for one freakin day to get some work done. I miss out on all this important talk of hipsters, cocks, and spelling... ****!!! I guess I'll just have to drop out and somehow start professionally reading this forum.

On the plus side I ran my papers through this forum instead of a spell checker and my profs said my spelling has never been better

I guess it's true what they say... Hipsterism saves!! Oh and this tread is apparently the exception that proves the rule... only took three posts for someone to be called a hipster
