Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Celeste Saddle?

Anyone got a hookup for a celeste saddle for my Bianchi?

Bianchi's online store has a couple but they're a bit steep.

Anyone know of a good saddle for fixed gear riding that wont set me back too much and comes in celeste?

I have the celeste saddle that came on the 2001 Pista. I only used it a few times and I'll sell it to you for $30.

Pictures in a second.

Scratch that price. $20 + shipping and it's yours.

Note: it is not a selle italia saddle, the is just the box I've been storing it in. I will also ship it in this box.

OK, Gareth. I just got back from the Post Office. I sent the saddle priority mail, so you should have it by Tuesday at the latest. Postage cost me $5.40.

Drop a five in a Salvation Army kettle, or in the coffee can on the counter of a convenience store for your local animal shelter, or to benefit someone with cancer...something like that...and we're even.

I hope the saddle is what you want.

Man, I'd love to have one that color

Any leather experts know if you can bleach the color out of say a honey brooks and re-dye it another color?

There is a "British Racing Green" Brooks available - it doesn't look too bad, in fact it looks quite fetching when put on a Celeste frame…

celeste saddle(bianchi)

Hi,

Am new here, so i apologize if i have posted in wrong forum, etc.

I, too, am looking to buy a celeste-coloured Bianchi saddle,or facsimile, for my single speed project bike. The Bianchi website is steep, so I am willing to purchase used.

many thanks,
