Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That album is really really good. They're playing this weekend in Baltimore with Obits (Rick Froberg's new band). I'm hoping that Rick and John get together for a couple of Jehu songs. I hear that Hot Snakes played "Luau" and "Rome Plows" at a couple of shows a while back.

Right now, it's the Medway Powerhouse Vol. 1; a collection of songs from the likes of the Mighty Caesars, the Del-Monas, The Milkshakes, The Discords, The Pop Rivets, Auntie Vegetable, et al.

Up Next is The Mummies and on deck is an oldie; an Alternative Tentacles Compilation called "Let Them Eat Jellybeans".

Oh, I am always listening to these two radio stations as well:

WCBN - 88.3 FM Ann Arbor (freeform U of Michigan student radio; I DJed there during my four years of school)
WFMU - 91.7/90.1 FM Jersey City, NJ/Hudson Valley, NY (freeform community radio from the NYC area)
