Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

**** yeah His Hero is Gone... And word to Asunder definitely. Some of the slower HHIG stuff lead me to doom and sludge, which has been my lifeblood for 4 or 5 years now.

Recent Album Obsessions:

Amenra - Mass IIII

Kehlvin - The Mountain Daylight Time

Abandon - In Reality We Suffer (Heavy and miserable doom... Like a sledge hammer to an empty submarine)

I recommend Seasick Steve. Do a youtube search if you haven't heard of him. Good old southern blues.

You gonna be at any of their shows in January? I think that I might catch them multiple times.

And I've been listening to Off With Their Heads a bunch again in anticipation of seeing them play with Thorns of Life (Blake Schwarzenbach's and Aaron Cometbus's new band )

i'm gunna try to make it out. they were supposed to play berkley one night and frisco the next, but it looks like the berkley show somehow got moved to santa cruz. and i think the show in the city is at someone's house, so we'll see how that goes.
