Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i think it's hilarious how they start resorting to racist and homophobic name calling when they run out of an argument, or rather yet, when they run out of brain cells

yes i live in glenside, that's how philly craigslist works, no matter what forum it's in, it's to the point that it's hardly worth checking, and then one day you find the girl that's selling a 42 inch wide unopened 96ft roll of photopaper that her old roomate left behind and she's asking 50 dollars for it, and then it all seems worth it again

Hahaha, re-read the original post. He edited it apparantly. I've seen the frame in person, it's quite nice.

based on the OP pic, i thought the whole thing was a joke... craigslist in philly has a lot of joke track-bike/hipster posts. hmmm, sounds like another place i frequent (not that i don't enjoy reading it one way or the other)...

Weird. My parents live in Wyndmoor.

And Craigslist reminds me why I moved, yet again!

philadelphia hates itself far to much to ever be considered a great city, it's a shame, i like it, not as much as other cities but it's still good

i don't exactly prefer the east coast, but i lived in philly for a while. it's one city out that way i wouldn't mind going back to too terribly much.

I LOVE philly, but only for about a month at a time. After that, I start wanting to kill myself and have to leave. Can't really figure out why, its rather uncanny how I can only be happy there for almost exactly a month at a time.

It's the city you love to hate. I really enjoy living here, and center city's a great place to walk/ride around -- but I've never seen so many angry (and I mean ANGRY) people so concentrated in one area.

I enjoy philly very much i've been living here for two years and its great super fun to ride around. The anger is best when its concentrated at the eagles. i have never seen so many people so passionate about something they aren't involved in at all
