Miche cockring threading?

So I've got this dandy EAI italian thread lockring (thanks Chimbley!) but it doesn't seem to fit my hub. I thought Miche hubs use the sam threading as Campy, but it won't spin on with the fingers, and I'm not about to attempt to force it. So does anybody know what the lockring threading on a miche hub is?

Are the threads on both the lockring and hub clean? Maybe run a clean rag over them. The Miche uses 33.5 × 24 tpi, same as Campy.

I think so. it's a new hub, I still haven't ever tightened down a lockring onto it. The Miche ring threads on fine.

I'm not accusing you of being ignorant, but you know lockrings are reverse threaded, right? (you probably do... i'm just checkin')

cruisin' for a bannination?

[edit] in any case miche is threaded "italian" as is campy as is (in theory) EAI.
then again, maybe you got a "japanese" threaded EAI lockring? if such a beast indeed exists

(what exactly are the right terms for these lockring threadings? ISO vs. JIS again?)
[/edit]
