i wore stickerguy's NYC chain over one shoulder for a night, i thought it was pretty cool, even if heavy. I think it also intimidated Mr. D. Lips, he didnt try any funny business with me.

Damn, I miss brunch like hell. All I get in this damned town is free hare krishna lunch during weekdays (ask salmonchild) and Beer (capital B cause it's my main source of vitamins). Occasionally there's interestingly garlicked pesto at night (ask fixedpip. he's a very good sport).

To make up for all that crap though. Sunday Roast. The king of all brunches. Oh man it's like eating an infant in deliciousness washed down with beer. damn i'm hungry again.

nyc knows how to brunch (it's a verb now).

the best I had was at some place in the LES -- $12 for meal (HUGE breakfast burrito), coffee, and your choice of mimosa, bloody mary, something else. I'll be back in March.

10. XLR8R Mag

You don't invite the fixie rider to your party becasue he will sleep with your girlfriend/boyfriend, and then call you in the morning to tell you how good it was.

unless you're a fan of early 20th century british lit. there's no reason you would have ever encountered the word before.

here's the wikipedia entry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elevenses and there is a GREAT list of meal names on the right of the page.
