Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nah, sometimes it's fun to hear about people who actually hang out and ride together...

Edit: Also, jimbob, you owe me a beer.

Meh, no one forces me to click (unless the fireman who lives in my nose is awake).

Edit: oh crap, now you've woken him up...

I would actually like to see a "Rides" subforum in here, but of course that will get shot down by blah blah blah...

A "Rides" sub-forum *would* be pretty useful.

I like pirates, everytime I see them we get drunk and ride bikes. It's happened at least five times this year, and I've only been to DC once in 2005...

As opposed to of course a Chicago subforum, or an NYC subforum. How about a Boise subforum to eliminate the 'noise' eminating from that metropolis? Those posters from Bangor, Maine can get boisterous at times too.

Go back and check a coupla years back when I asked for the same for here - for all cities. A Ride Subforums for here. Dig deep - it is there.

I think we have also left out the all-too-noticable crew from Kimch'aek, North Korea.

It would have been cool a couple years ago. I could have gone in there and insulted myself.

True. Speaking of sir chivo, he leaves next week to go climb Kilimanjaro. Citizens of Tanzania, you have been warned.

It's a shame he fell for the "Free mercenary ring" offer in the back of Soldier of Fortune - and then it turned out to be nothing more than white slavery.
Live and learn.
On the positive side, think of what that will do for his résumé!

Well, if you do create a Rides subforum, put the Boston rides thread in it. It has survived and stayed vaguely on-topic for months.
