Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Next time look at the threads more closely. If it's nighttime, bring a flashlight to closer inspect the goods. talk to the person who sold it. They most likely knew of this and wanted to pass the damaged goods to someone else.

why else would they sell it?

damn, boyee. buyer beware.

I'd contact the seller and see if they own up to it. Could be an honest mistake, they could be cool about it and refund yer $$. Or they could be a dick and say "tough ****."
