Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Back in SF and want to ride

Hello Everyone,

Back in the city and want to go ride on Sunday. Weather.com is telling me that it will be dry.
Let's say 12 noon at the Bow and Arrow at Embarcadero and Folsom. Any takers? If there are more than a couple of people we'll have a little race too. See you there unless it is pouring in which case I'll be at home cooking.

Sounds lovely too. I'm down for anything as long as it isn't too early.

for those of you that have done the SF to SJ ride, what sort of degree of difficulty is it? Hill-wise, specifically
I'm just getting my legs back but still find myself sometimes getting winded on some not so tough hills.
How long is the ride to San Jose? And do you ride or train back usually?
