Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

haha that's awesome. the concept of having a path on a river rules... but i would never want to live somewhere where it was cold enough to do that.

Coaster brake hubs, is there anything they can't do?

That is too cool.

That's awesome! It reminds me of the first time a crashed a motorcycle in the ice. The rear end slipped out on a ~8mph turn. I tried to put a foot down to stop the bike falling which catapulted me about 10 feet into a snowbank. I got up unhurt and laughing like a maniac. More convinced than ever that wheels and ice are a most entertaining combination.
