Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? ha ha, that seems like an unfair advantage if you're from out of town. vancouver must be confusing for a grid, eh?

I think he means Vancouver, BC, not Vancouver, WA. BC is just a train ride away. I think it's about $75 round-trip on Amtrak.

I'm thinking its in BC.
They mention meeting at the art gallery, which is the meeting spot for our Critical Mass rides..
As well, Mighty Riders is one of the sponsors.

MrWhite
congrats. i would brave the travel and cold and weather and costs involved with getting to the race from where I am, but instead i chose being poor, tired, and unpaid to be berated by high schoolers as I try and get them to learn the things i hated when I was their ages.
enjoy. if you are ever through chicago...

They sure are. Mighty are putting up the big(ger) prize, as is Phantom, waiting on a bag from Crumpler, under the weather sent schwag, OCB and Bikes on the Drive are donating gift certificates, and the beer is good at Avanti.
