Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

more BB woes

Clearly the only way I can keep destroying BB's is that I am using older frames with OE parts...they don't seem to like aggressive back pressure.
I scored this Kuwahara last week and the BB was already making noise.. had it in an alley cat this weekend etc etc and it's not happy. Going to try and adjust spindle play tonight to make it last until I get paid..

Wouldn't this just be a generic asian threaded BB??????? I ask because I don't know.

Bad pics for the hell of it.

when you overhaul them, what's yr procedure for re-installing (including notes on how much torque you crank down on everything with, if the bearings are in retainers or not, how much grease you pack in and what shape your cranks are in)?

That's just it.. I haven't overhauled it. What I am asking is what threads this would use?

Probably english. 1.37xt24
I would pack it with a thick azz waterproof auto grease as you can't squeeze that much performance out of the BB, but you can shoot for more durability. I would tighten it just past where it rolls super smoothly, but before it binds.
