Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Panty bunch alert!!! Take the pledge!

People are getting a bit angst up about little ****, and now the h-word is starting to fly. Things are about to get ugly again.

I'm going to take a break from this forum for the weekend. I might come back to ask a technical question if I have one, but I'm gonna stay away from the drama queen threads entirely.

I'll admit it I'm addicted to this place, and I enjoy the goofing around as much as I do the sharing of 'knowledge, but when people start the name calling, you gotta wonder, what's the big deal? It's just an internet message board, who cares?

This isn't supposed to be a threat. I know most folks here dont care if I post, and maybe some wish I would just shut up sometimes. I hope things'll settle down, but I'm at least going to try my damndest to avoid getting involved in name calling, and *****ing and moaning. So I'm taking the pledge, and I encourage others t do the same.

I (state your name) solemnly swear not to be an ash hole on the SS/FG forum, at least for the duration of the weekend.

d00d it's, teh interw3bz, DUH!

seriously, if you're going to get upset about bits of data being either on or off, then step away from the computer. I mean come on, it's a message board, if someone's being a jerk, just use childish insults, "your momz" jokes are always fun. everyone takes this noise way to serious.

Smile kids, it only gets worse from here.

only a true hipster could be ostentatious and self-righteous enough to make a HEY-LOOK-AT-ME-I'M-TAKING-A-DIGITAL-STAND post over people saying stupid shiz in the internet.

DON'T MIND ME, I'LL JUST BE UNDER THIS BRIDGE RUBBING THE JEWEL IN THE CENTER OF MY BELLY.
