Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? !!!BALTIMORE!!! I'm bored!

ok so friday nights are usually a bust for me, since most of my friends live in frederick, so why not do some drink and bike?

I'm usually down for bars, or for getting a six pack, throwing it in my bag and drinking in a park.

anyone else into organizing something?

damnz I hope so.

John Waters makes people eat dog poop as the beat-down into his crew. Just so you know. Saw it in a movie, once.

If I was in baltimore right now I'd be at the brewer's art, very nice happy hour.

And though I do like his movies, John Waters is a ******bag.

The Brewer's Art used to be fun all night, but happy hour was stupid cheap, something like a buck fifty a beer. Normal prices are double that, but that's still cheap, for damned good beer at that. I haven't been there in a while, since I don't live in Baltimore anymore, but think it's a great spot. And it was also started by a couple of ex-messengers.

And yeah, there is a door to the basement, just walk down the stairs.

I work part-time as a Bartender at J. Paul's in the inner harbor at the outside deck bar. It is on the back patio of the restaurant. I work this Wednesday night, Friday night and all day Saturday. Stop by and I will buy you a drink, if your ride takes you by the harbor. Bring your bike with you to the bar and you can lock up under the steps. Don’t use the public lock racks if you want to have a bike to come back to.
