Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Okay, I'm slow since I just switched the Sanka so help me out, okay?

I received this with a track bike I recently purchased. I'm not sure what it is. A tool of some kind, a stand?

I'm stumped!

any manufacture name, marking, model number stamped on it? Does it expand if you turn that silver screw looking like thing on the end?

What I'm trying to say is...do you think it'd make espresso?

Does that thing slide out. I see a round hole. Does it fit on the end of the "T"? Maybe it's a stand.

The three orange thing scream "feet", so it's a tripod.

It's a stand. Pull the leg out of the end and screw it down on the bolt on the bottom.

The crank arm goes down the C-channel to hold the bike up.

Unless you just want the red herring answer: File it under H for "Toy".

i've seen one of those before, they use them in bike shops, like yonderboy said, you pull the leg out and then the crank arm goes in to the channel thingy to make a easy small stand for your bike.
